BRCM Configuration Variables

The BRCM.cfg file is unique to each Workset and can be found under each Workset folder in the BRCM directory:

Note: This file replaces the PCF file which was used in V8i versions.

Variable Uses

BRCM_DB_ID - This variable is unique in each workset and is used as prefix for all project tables in the SQL database.
BRCM_DB_STATIONID - Defines unique BRCM user name. It is used to control access to document between different team members.
BRCM_DB_CONNECTSTRING=DSN=BRCMUSER;UID=BRCMUser;PWD=BRCM - Used to connect to BRCM database.
The following variables are used to define location of the BRCM dataset.
- BRCM_WS_METADATA=$(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)/$(_USTN_APPLICATION)/std_dataset/metadata/
- BRCM_WS_RACEWAY=$(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)/$(_USTN_APPLICATION)/std_dataset/raceway/
- BRCM_WS_RACEWAY_TEMPLATES=$(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)/$(_USTN_APPLICATION)/std_dataset/raceway/Templates/
- BRCM_WS_EQUIPMENT=$(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)/$(_USTN_APPLICATION)/std_dataset/equipment/
- BRCM_WS_SCHEMAS=$(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)/$(_USTN_APPLICATION)/std_dataset/schemas/

- MS_DEF=$(_USTN_WORKSETROOT)/dgn/ - Entry point where BRCM looks for DGN files.
- MS_DESIGNSEED=$(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)/$(_USTN_APPLICATION)/std_dataset/seed/USSeed3d.dgn - Location of BRCM seed file.
